"Trauma and Reconciliation" is project implemented by Trauma Center with the main goal to educate and sensitize the population about the trauma, the impact of trauma and its role in the peace building process. Since 2008 until the beginning of the 2013 more than 800 people were educated on the trainings carried out by the Trauma Center. The most important benefit of the trainings is gaining new, wider insight in the theme of trauma, improvement of the professional skills and opportunity to work on personal experiences. The other important project outputs and results include compiled, translated and adapted materials in the field of trauma and reconciliation which can be useful to the practitioners and future professionals in their everyday work; developed curriculum for educational work with victims of war and vulnerable groups; including 'Trauma and Reconciliation' as mandatory part of the final year of studies at Franciscan Theology in Sarajevo and strengthen and trained professionals who work in the field of trauma and reconciliation.
