About proMENTE

proMENTE is a consultancy providing social research solutions both to businesses and non-profits. proMENTE operates internationally and is based in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
proMENTE's reputation is growing because

proMENTE's planning, training, monitoring and evaluation services include:

• Conducting evaluations of projects based in BiH and the rest of the Balkans to international standards. This means that rather than contracting foreign experts for evaluation missions, donors can now cut costs and increase quality by engaging a local team with international experience but with much better understanding of local conditions.
• Providing baseline and impact assessments for development programs and sectors.
• Providing organizational change assessments and interventions for businesses and non-profits.

proMENTE has also implemented its own projects in the area of educational policy and careers advice (perhaps the best-known being the careers website www.mojakarijera.com).
All our activities are intended to benefit society through the application of scientific knowledge and skills.
proMENTE is based in Sarajevo and registered as an association with the Federation of Bosnia-Herzegovina.

The organisation was founded in October 2002 in Sarajevo by three social scientists.

We work very hard from 9.30 to 17.00 but the evenings belong to us!

Statute

The aim of the Association is to:

• promote a positive development of an individual and society through the principles of psychological, pedagogical and sociological disciplines
• Establish humanistic and democratic principles in the society

Tasks and activities of the Association are focused on:

• Initiating and implementing a different forms of education for children, youth and adults;
• Providing psychosocial assistance and support; and
• Advocating for implementation of program for gifted children and youth.
• Organizing gatherings of the professionals who share and support the aims of the Association
• Preparing and implementing scientific and research projects in accordance with Law;
• Collaborating with and linking to similar organizations in the country and abroad, as well as with institutions and state bodies dealing with education, science, culture and social policy;
• Publishing brochures and books - hard copies and electronically – in accordance with Law;
• Other activities in accordance with the aims of the Association
